While bleaching my teeth at home, can I wear my trays to bed.?

The trays and bleach are from my dentist, and not from over the counter...

While bleaching my teeth at home, can I wear my trays to bed.?
hi friend!

it depends on whether they are night wear trays. It also depends on the amount of TIME you are supposed to wear them. If you are supposed to wear them in the day for an hour and you sleep with them you will have lots of sensitivity and could do a lot of damage to you gums....however if they are night wear trays and you are supposed to wear them for 8 hours at night..... just be sure not to over wear them. A fluoride rinse also whilst bleaching can reduce sensitivity. Avoid coffee and tea and red wine my dear.

Reply:Ask your dentist.
Reply:I wouldn%26#039;t recommend it. You aren%26#039;t supposed to swallow the stuff, it%26#039;s peroxide. If you get it on your fingers, you%26#039;ll see them turn white like if you got bleach on them. You%26#039;re also supposed to rinse your mouth out afterwards so just stay up for the ten minutes or whatever it is and then gargle some h2o and then go to bed. Good night!
